August Birthdays: SJ is 10~

It is tradition around here to celebrate birthdays all weekend and week of the birthday
so we were thrilled to have a house full of family including these darling boys~

Love having Savannah and the boys here to celebrate~

We celebrated Rosie (22), SJ (10), and Max (9)~

 Presents and a melted DQ ice cream cake was SO fun~

SJ got a big loom since she has fallen in love with weaving as well as more Lego dragons (look above)~

I LOVED snapping these cute photos that show her personality to a T~

Always smiling and sweet, loves to joke and laugh, and very diligent!

SJ's Party Day~

When we have BC we stay home from church and spend it with family.

Everyone was fine with that since Mimi was tired from her trip

and Rosie was home from first days of college life.

The first moments of the morning with BC are some of my favorites~

Isn't he just the most precious baby in the world???!!!

It wasn't long before the birthday girl was up and ready for her party day.

We made lunch for everyone and the celebration was on~

SJ wanted a dog cake but no one could make to her standards so

I ordered from Publix and dad picked up a little cupcake dog from Ingles for the final touch.

Added some candles and balloons~

 Sang Happy Birthday for a super sweet birthday girl!!!

We also celebrated having Mimi home and three Originals back together!~

 and this sweet couple back together!!!~

 My sister Sissy and family were back in town and THAT was perfect too~

 The best part of the day for SJ was opening all her gifts~

Everything from legos and teasets to books/games and a swing plus new dog and swimsuits!!!

I think she would rank it right up there with some of her favorite days!!! 

Happy 8th birthday SJ...

We couldn't love you more and look forward to many more!

SJ is 8~ {The Best of Days}

SJ had counted down her birthday with a chain for weeks

because Mill would be home that day as well.

It finally came and we were so happy to have BC with us for the weekend too~

 One of the things I love about SJ is her easy going spirit...
The highlights of her day was choosing a breakfast of sausage cheese casserole,
opening her big gift {Woodzeez's Treehouse and family}
and don't ask me why I don't have pics... who knows!~

 She also got a trip to the new bakery in town for a cupcake and donuts then
the BIG trip to the airport to pick up Mimi...
she was the only little that got to go~

 It was the BEST of homecomings~

 Mimi right back where she belongs~

 A great adventure for sure~

But no one like family and HOME!
WHEW~ our girl is home and all is right with the world!!!
Praise Jesus for this great blessing!

The August Birthday Girls~

We celebrated Rosie and SJ's birthdays today with their family party...

Hanging by the pool~

 Grilling, eating cupcakes/homemade ice cream, and opening gifts~

 And just spending time with our sweet family!~

SJ is 6~

I promise when SJ came downstairs this morning she looked like she had grown during the night.

We enjoyed a slow school morning with a birthday book and everyone decorated paper birthday cakes.

Finally it was time to head into Gwinnett for her Build*A*Bear party... I laughed and told her how awesome it was that she had her own built in party crowd~

 Everyone went in to choose the stuffed animal they loved. Of course SJ chose Twilight Sparkle!

SO fun having ALL 8 of them together to celebrate this great day~

 It was kind of throw back Thursday for me as I remembered back to the big girls' parties in this very store~

 The bigs made this party a huge success between helping each little move through the stations to helping take photos to being IN the photos! After the party we ate dinner @ PF Chang's~

 And then cookie cake, birthday song, blowing out candles, and eating big pieces not to mention a carousel ride~

 SJ, Dad and I couldn't be more proud of you! You always put others before yourself and help keep the peace. Your birth parents have been heavy on my mind today. I pray they know you are safe, happy, and completely loved beyond words!

Tonight as we pulled into the garage to head inside, SJ said, "Mom, this was the BEST birthday ever!" What a huge feel good moment for the mom!!! Nothing makes me happier than seeing this precious Fujian princess completly JOY filled!!!
