Sweet Brooklynn and Jessica came to visit all the way from Idaho. It was so wonderful to spend time and see just how much Brookie had grown~
While we were at Memommy's visiting Brooklynn, the kids climbed up on the well house to pretend~
Savannah sent pics of BC and Josh on their first camping trip together~
And the fun BC had at the Fun Run at his school~
Our beloved Dogwood tree died out by our pool so we decided to fill the space with something we would love through the fall and winter months~
It was SO exciting to see all the materials delivered and the men come to work each day~
Just within a couple of days, we could see just how wonderful it was going to be~
SO exciting~
I had the great fun of eating lunch with BC! I read a book to him while he ate then we talked about his day. He was very proud of his school and introducing me to his teacher~
I got a call from my friend Catherine that she had a free ticket to Wild&Free Conference in Franklin Tenn but I would have to pack and leave within 2 hours to make it by dinner and opening session~
I found the courage to leave at a moment's notice, drive almost 6 hours alone, and made it just in time to be with the lady in the pink dress! I also met some of my favorite homeschool curriculum writers: Rea Berg and Julie Bogart! It was a wonderful time learning and enjoying being with friends!
Calla worked on riding her bike for days and weeks but finally made it so the big kids walked while she took her first ride down the street~
Even at the end of September, the kids were playing in the pool~
EK and SJ bought this beautiful display shelf from their Aunt Susan for their Breyer horses~
And EK made this beautiful butterfly display for the nature shelf.
Goodbye to September and hello to October!
