Easter is my Favorite Holiday~

Easter is my favorite holiday for so many reasons!

~ Eternity is Sealed with Jesus' Resurrection and our Acknowledgment!
~ Everyone looks forward to the Newness of the season of Spring with new clothes, church, and wonderful meal.
~ Family gathers to just be together.

Our day together was one of the best!

We began breakfast with our traditional Resurrection Rolls and Easter baskets~

We went to early church and came home for photos~

LOVED having all the Bigs and Grands home~

Calla understood so much more this Easter than last~

My beautiful littles~

While lunch cooked and we waited for everyone to arrive, we read this wonderful book and finished our Resurrection Eggs~

After lunch, we had the Hunt~

 And spent the rest of the day outside just being together~

 It was blessed day for sure and SO thankful for Jesus and his gift of salvation, family, and love!

Halloween 2017~

Here are a few Halloweens from days gone by~

We traveled to Savannah's for our Halloween fun this year...
our last hurrah before Calla's surgery tomorrow~

Happy 2nd Birthday to Ben Curtis~

ZTA Brunch~

Saturday we were invited to Rosie's ZTA brunch to visit with her sisters and families. It is always so wonderful to experience R's life because we miss her something fierce~

 Food was delicious, company perfect, and time for photos~

 Then we were off to visit Rosie's cute cottage for next year~

 Completely renovated and perfect for her and two sorority sisters~

 We met the owners and how wonderful that they live less than 3 miles from us. Super nice~

SO very excited about this beautiful home away from home.

I think you are going to be very happy RGA!!!

We love you SO very much!!!

Birthday Celebration with our Children~

Evie and I will celebrate our birthday on Wednesday, but today I received some beautiful gifts
from my amazing friend Lori... a blanket for CA and adorable outfit plus this gorgeous bracelet~

 The blanket is just so sweet, and I already look forward to wrapping CA up for a cuddle!

Our big girls wanted to go out for a birthday dinner so we all met in Athens for Hibachi~

 This was a BIG first for all our littles, and they handled the fire and noise perfectly!
It was just SO fun to be together on a weeknight~

 There were gifts, dinner, and delicious cupcakes~

I could not love my family more, and SO thankful to share my birthday with Eviebaby!!!

Thanksgiving 2015~

It was so great to have Rosie home for the week as well as a house full of family in and out.
Thursday we enjoyed my whole side of the family over for an amazing meal~

Everyone ate, visited, napped and enjoyed such a beautiful day!
We have SO much to be thankful for and family is certainly at the top of the list.
Sure did miss my sister's family being home but that just makes longing for Christmas all the more sweeter!!!

HollyMei's China Book~

She may have been last to receive her book but she was equally delighted!!!
Whew! It feels good to have all that complete.
Mostly it feels amazing to see them find pride in their Chinese heritage.

A Day in Greenville~ {After our Radio Interview}

We left the radio station His Radio @ 7:45 and grabbed breakfast then walked the river park while waiting for the zoo to open.
I LOVED this photo of our family in front of the roots from a big tree because it represented what our adoption shirt symbolized. Family is ROOTED in love and that's what we believe our family represents~

 We took pics of each other~

 Then headed to the big playground at the Greenville Zoo~

 The zoo is always not very crowded and easy to maneuver with the crew~

 We were celebrating Will Perry Day so we treated them to Chinese for lunch~

 And a walk through Cabella's because they loved looking at stuffed animals too~

Our family day was wonderful and came home exhausted. The best way to fall into bed ready for a good night's sleep!!!!!
