October Beginnings~

October has been looked forward to forever because we leave for the beach in 6 days.
Before we ready to go, we spent the day with sweet Marshall~

Watched our fireplace almost ready except for the hearth~

Watched a gorgeous dusk~

And had our annual heart exam for these three loves~

They got raving reports and will be back next year!!!
I'd say that was pretty sweet beginning!

The GrandSons~

I LOVE when Savannah sends me photos of what the boys are up to!
BC graduated from PreK and just look at the little graduate~

 This is his last day of school photo~

While Savannah went in for post planning at school, we went out to keep the boys. Their backyard is fantastic and we played out there all morning~

I realized while we were there, it was Calla's gotcha day and just look at the difference love over the last 3 years has made~

She's such a precious soul, full of joy, and quite the exploding firecracker at times. She loves nothing more than playing with her best friend, BC~

It was Josh's birthday so the boys made the sweetest birthday cards~

LOVED this day SO much!!!!!!!!!

The 4th and a Fun Day~

The most exciting part of the 4th for our family is Savannah's birthday.
She and her family were at the beach so they celebrated there~

 while we celebrated her here at home with Patriotic brownies and ice cream~

 We hung out at the pool during the day and after dinner, we took the boat out not far from our dock for fireworks show~

This week we were missing the boys so much, we took a day trip to see them~

 There is a cool park near their new house so we took the kids to play~

 They had the best time chasing and climbing~

 It was in the high 90s so we didn't stay for more than an hour or so~

 We made it back for lunch and a movie rest time~

 BC and Calla have to patch each day so it was sweet that they were supporting each other!

On the way home, we stopped by Rosie's new office and boy was it beautiful~

Of course Crockett was the favorite part for the kids!!!

A Grand Few Days~

We had the joy of having the Grand Boys here for a few days~

 It was so wonderful to watch the kids all help out and take care of each other.

 These boys look so much like their Papa~

 Thankfully we had one day of pretty warm temps so they could get outside~

What a joy to have grandchildren!!!

Marshall's Real Birthday~

We went out to celebrate with Marshall on his real birthday and spent the night~

 It was so wonderful to be there with them~

 We had CFA nuggets and cookie cake~

 We ended the evening with a walk and woke next morning to hang out again~

 My sweet friend Lisa came to visit bearing cupcake decorating and lots of gifts~

 The next day when we got home, everyone spent the morning working on all the things Lisa gave them~

And LOOK at the boys' lego creations~

Marshall is ONE~

Today we were SO excited to celebrate little Marshall's first birthday.
We all dressed in our flannels, did our chores, and drew with new pencils that came in the mail~

Late Valentine's and CNY surprise!

The party was at 4 so we arrived for Marshall to open all his gifts~

We ate pizza and yummy cupcakes~

And MY favorite... PHOTOS~

What a beautiful One Year Old~

We all love you to pieces little sweet boy!!!!!

Getting Decorated~

Early evenings full of darkness brings lots of time for games and crocheting~

Early mornings because of the time change brings playing in front of the tree
and SJ making us a delicious breakfast~

We spend more time in pjs too because it saves tons of laundry and it's simply comfy~

We had a surprise weekend with the grandboys so Mill and Logan came over~

They loved all the decorating we were doing~

This year I handed the bins to the kids, and they decorated three of our four trees~
{LOVE they are such big helpers!!!}

My sweet babygrands lost a precious granddaddy while they were at our house.
They are the sweet legacy to an amazing man... Mr. Ben will never be forgotten~

And when everything was back to normal, Calla crashed in my arms for a long nap!!!

A Grand Day~

We had another day with our grand boys~

 Marshall is starting to crawl and trying to sit up!

BC is just a doll~

Happy to Be Home~

The first day home was a free day!
Do whatever you want to do kids.
EK chose to spread out all the shells and organize them~

 Friday I hadn't planned to make a big deal out of school but they grabbed their journals for Friday Freewrite~

 AND it was the First day of Fall so I gathered some Fall books, and we went out for a fall scavenger hunt~

 And that caterpillar crawling on Evie's arm was poisonous!!!!! Yikes!!!!!!
We took a photo with our adopted tree and then painted nature prints~

 It ended up being the best impromptu Fall Celebration for sure~

 And this is a little sneak peak into our Halloween plans~

EK and I spend time creating our Curiosity Cabinet with our nature finds~

Sunday was church and Falcon game in our new jerseys (Scott's bd gift to both of us!)~

AND baby Marshall is 6 months old!
