We arrived in Garden City, SC around 4pm, went to dinner and put everyone to bed to wake up to a glorious day on the beach~
It was a little warm and a little cool but the kids didn't bat an eye playing in the surf and sand~
We were just ALL so glad to be here as can be seen by sweet Calla~
Sometimes there were clouds and mist. Other times the sky was beautiful scattered with puffy clouds and lots of sun~
Because it was October, the beaches were wide open and everything we could hope for~
We enjoyed dinner at Mellow Mushroom one night and they tried to put us in this bus to eat but didn't quite work for our family~

| Fun photo though! |
Scott played endless games of football with the kids, EK sketched, everyone found treasures, and went for many walks~
The clouds and mist on a couple of days didn't keep us in either~
They didn't miss a chance to smile for mom either~
I LOVE to take shots of them off doing their own thing~
Loving and living their best life~
Reading on the beach was a favorite past time as well, then we took them to the bookstore which is a tradition every vacation~
They all get to choose one book each, then they take it to the beach, read it for school, and sleep with it. True story!
THEN! Nan, Mimi, and the boys arrived for the second half of the week~
They just jumped right in building sandcastles, digging holes, and going for walks~
Just look at those beautiful children and the skies~
It is so wonderful to be at the beach with your children AND grandchildren~
Another favorite is waking up to watch the sunrise over the ocean and this trip did not disappoint~
Love my people~
And to watch these beautiful sisters be best friends and love me too is priceless~
I LOVED watching the kids and grands be best friends too~
It was a wonderful vacation with my people just missing my three big boys!!!
