Powderpuff Game~

This time last year Rosie had just had knee surgery and was home recovering~

 This year she was SO excited to play in the Powderpuff Game as a defensive back?~

 We were all so excited to be in the stands cheering on the Senior Team!

It was SO fun watching for Rosie to be on the field~

 With halftime homecoming being the most entertaining part... CJ was escorted by Rosie... cute huh?

Seniors won the game and all is well in their world...

then they were off for a big Mexican meal with all their friends.

Powderpuff Games are short and fun!!!

Rosie's Surgery~

On her knee went very well this morning. We left home about 4:30 and she went into surgery @ 7. Every single dr and nurse was amazing and she couldn't have had a better experience.

 Everyone commented on how happy and smiley she was... her first surgery, first IV, and first anesthesia... she rocked it!!! It was great to have Amelia there for support. 

I took a few pics with my camera and more with my phone (easier). We were there until about 11:30 and then time to head home. She has rested on the sofa this afternoon (trying to stay ahead of the pain), had a few friends over, and hoping for a great night's rest! 

SO very thankful to have this behind us and pray for a healthy recovery before we go to China. 

Special Errand~

Rosie is getting prepared for her knee surgery on Thursday morning and will tackle physical therapy maybe by Saturday morning. She needed new tennis shoes so we did a little shopping this afternoon~

Then stopped for a dinner on the way home... EK really put away some ribs!!! She said she wanted Uncle Chris to make them for her birthday. ;)

A great start to a very big week!!!

A Doctor Day~

For Rosie. She has struggled with knee pain since she was in 4th grade due to a gymnastics injury. We finally found a great orthopedic surgeon who ordered a MRI last week. Long story short she will have surgery in two weeks. So thankful she will feel better soon!!!

 

We also received our new carseats today and now all 5 littles will have a safe ride. So thankful for God's continued provision for us we get closer to traveling for Evie and Payne.
