A Doctor Day~

For Rosie. She has struggled with knee pain since she was in 4th grade due to a gymnastics injury. We finally found a great orthopedic surgeon who ordered a MRI last week. Long story short she will have surgery in two weeks. So thankful she will feel better soon!!!

We also received our new carseats today and now all 5 littles will have a safe ride. So thankful for God's continued provision for us we get closer to traveling for Evie and Payne.

  2. So sorry Rosie has to have surgery, but it sounds like it is an answer to prayer and that she will finally feel better. Have your worked out who is going to be in whose room or do you have enough bedrooms that no one has to share?

  3. We have Radians too! SO safe and SO narrow! That's how we get our three across in the back too! Glad to see your "big" kids still in 5 point harness's! That is the safest thing for them. Good Momma!

  4. Five car seats? Ha Ha! You guys need to get a bus, Sharon! I'm sorry about Rosie's knee and I hope for good results from her surgery. I had some bad knee problems two years ago (with 2 surgeries before it finally got better); life is so much better with two working and pain-free knees. Will keep her in my prayers. BTW...you would get along well with my across the street neighbors: When we moved in back in 1996, they were pregnant and were also waiting for a referral from China. Those babies ended up only being 4 months apart in age and are just turning 16. Then they went to China for another girl who will soon be 14, then a little boy just before we got Abby and they followed up with another boy, who was on the waiting child list, he was 4 when they got him and will turn 12 next month. For a while, she had 3 car seats jam packed into the back seat of her Lincoln Continental, but now she's a mini van driving mommy. So, in our neighborhood we have the 4 Chinese kids across the street, we have Abby and the neighbors just behind us have two kids from China! That makes 7 in our neighborhood of 100 homes and interestingly enough, they all came through CCAI! I really need to get all of them together and send a picture to Josh and Lilly with all their names, provinces and travel group numbers. Have a great day, Sharon! I love reading your blog and seeing all the great things you guys have going on in your lives.

  5. Praying the surgery heals Rosie's knee and she has no more pain to deal with, can't be fun for such an athletic gal! We play "musical carseats" with 3 in seats too, can't imagine any more would fit in my car though!
