Labor Day~

Rosie was able to come home for one night

and we were SO thankful!

She had a lot of homework and we gave her time to work

while we hung outside all day long riding and swimming.

We sure hope she has a great week back at college~

What better way to end a wonderful holiday weekend?

Movie night and so far everyone has made it through the whole thing.

That's saying a lot since it is almost 9 and they are usually all in bed at 8.

We don't count this holiday as the end of our summer.

There will be many more days playing in the yard and swimming in the pool...

we even leave for the beach one week from Friday!!!

Let summer keep on keepin' on!!!

Even though 3 out of the 5 are coughing and congested 

they had to get outside and play for a while~

 Hopefully the fresh air will help them feel and sleep better!

Labor Day Weekend

Our weekend was a really relaxing one for the most part. The girls went on a retreat with their youth group and Sav was away with Josh. That left the Three... and I was not feeling well at all... so that left Two. Scott and EK spent a lot of time together outside in the yard. I had no energy but watched from inside and loved seeing them together! EK would stay outside ALL day if someone would stay out with her and that is pretty much what she was able to do over the weekend. We were all back together on Monday and even though I still was weak, we took our boat for a short while for the last time this summer. We had a ball- the girls rode the tube and Rosie skiied for the first time ever and got right up- it was Awesome!!! The water was soooo cold but not as cold as our pool. Anyway, the boat has been put away for the season and we already look forward to the day we pull it back out!!! Here are a few pics from the weekend!

Labor Day Weekend

Our Labor Day was actually full of labor in the yard. Scott cleaned gutters and cleared some areas that have grown up so much in the woods. I drove him around in the golf cart:). We had a visit from the Cains as they were on their way home to Athens. The kids had grown so much and Grace Anne was just precious!!! Our girls enjoyed the pool and we grilled so we could eat by the pool. Later we made ice cream and sat outside until the stars began to twinkle. After a walk, I got EllaKate down, and Scott and I took our coffee out by the pool again to relax before bed. The perfect ending to a GREAT weekend!!!
