Santa Visit~

One of our family Christmas traditions is a day @ Lenox so today was the day
and WHO should we see on the interstate but Santa himself in red sports car~
We met Josh, Savannah, and Ben Curtis there for our Santa visit.
The littles were pretty shy to talk to Santa and Ben Curtis was so brave to sit with him too~
We rode the Macy's Pink Pig~
And had a delicious lunch at Maggiano's~
It was the best day hanging out together making Christmas memories~
I will cherish this photo forever and look forward to sweet CallaAnne being in it next year~
SO thankful for days like today!!!

If They Only Knew~

This morning was a very early one with everyone out the door by 4:30am
then hour and half drive to CHOA for Payne's sedated MRI.
We arrived on time, checked in, and began a morning of waiting,
observing an aquarium, playing Ipads, and more waiting~
Scott went back with Payne and he was SO brave getting his IV in.
About 2 hours later, he wheeled out to tell me how brave he was~
We walked right across the street to our neurosurgeon's office, Dr. Boydston,
to have the scans read.
Not much info other than nothing to be concerned about now
and will see us again in 4 months~
Everyone was starving and If They Only Knew...
we were taking them to Maggiano's and Lenox Square Mall!!!

Family tradition to take them to Lenox for Pink Pig Ride
{Holly's first ride}~
Then to see Ole St Nick~
{Had to have a little pow wow of what everyone would ask for}
Evie was not scared this year but she didn't sit on his knee either... EK kept her safe.
As for Holly, she wasn't the least bit afraid but had NO idea what we were doing. :)~
Always such a good feeling to see Santa early and not worry about fighting the crowd later~
Holly went back for an extra hug~
 Just one more pic kids~
OKAY~ done!
A fun day that started out with one thing as priority
and ended with a surprise to make a family tradition memory!!!
We are known to pack a ton in one day and that's exactly what we did.
Oh and we stopped by to see grandson on the way home
so I could shoot their Christmas card photos~
They turned out beautiful...
isn't HE beautiful?
The sweetness just keeps getting sweeter!!!

A Marathon Day {Santa}~

Scott and I have days where we decide we will go BIG or just stay home...
today was one such day~
A Marathon Day~
{Our day via Instagram}
We left our house @ 7:30 to make WP's eye appt.
It went great and found out he definitely needs glasses
{ready sometime next week}.
Let me just say he is going to look adorable!!!
Then we made our way on to Immigration for our fingerprint appt.
Scott, myself, Amelia, and Rosie all had to get them taken so we declared it our Christmas Tradition Day of...
Santa, Pink Pig, a little shopping, and Maggiano's!

After fingerprinting we were all starving so decided Maggiano's would be our lunch.
SO delish and then on to Lenox for the highlight of our Marathon Day!

Our first highlight was Santa and we all geared up for the fear Evie would experience when she saw Santa.
THAT did NOT happen... she blew our mind!
Marched right up to him with a big smile and climbed right into his lap.
So did Payne: their FIRST Santa visit... Priceless~
At one point she reached up and gently touched his beard.
Everyone did so well sharing what they wanted for Christmas
and I LOVED that A&R were ok jumping in the photo too~
When we were all done and walking away, Evie had a little fit saying, "My baby, my baby!"
She had told Santa she wanted a baby for Christmas and thought he would give it to her right away.
She was fine once we explained he would bring it to her on the sleigh with the reindeer!

Moving on to our Pink Pig ride~
It was a big hit too and thank you Rosie for riding with them!!!
Icing on the cake~
Savannah met us @ Chick-fil-A for a quick ice cream dinner on our way home.
Saw all my children again today... the BEST kind of day.
A Marathon Day!

Fall is in the Air~

Little Hudson is 4 months old, and I think his sister is very proud~ Daybreak at Legacy View is SO beautiful~ Snaps from the days of Huddy ...
