Little Moments~

The boys are such big helpers with the little girls, especially when it comes to getting our math done on the weekends~

The life of the party don't you know~

A strong brother is good to have in your corner~

And I couldn't keep our house running with little teams of twos and threes~

The Grandboys~

We are SO thankful for you and those presh Grandboys!!!~

We were so excited to get a day with them and they were perfect~

I was surrounded by 9 loves and it was glorious~

A Day with the Boys~

HaPpY Birthday to Josh!
He and Savannah planned a day together and we got to spend the day with the boys~

Since it was a school day, I brought along a little drawing game called Pick and Draw.
BC was right in the middle, picking only the green cards~

 Calla wore herself right out~

Savannah and Josh went to a Braves game so we got to spend the night too.
LOVE seeing Calla and BC as best buds!!!~

Rosie and the girls bought a watermelon and it was the perfect snack at the pool~

After dinner Scott and I began another yard project in the front~

 We moved to this house about 9 years ago and the plants have grown SO big!
It was time to pull them up and begin again... a clean slate~

 HUGE improvement and can't wait to get the new ones in~

And then this happened~

There is NO way they will ever forget these fun nights!!!

Moments to Remember~

I walked in the family room last night to find all of them piled on the sofa...
reserving library books online~

Today I invited SJ to take a book outside and read wherever she wanted to.
I looked out to find her in the treehouse reading to the neighborhood cat~

While EK was inside with all her art supplies out painting this~

Life Lately~

After Easter photo shoot, Evie attached her little play camera to my tripod
and took her own photos~

 Savannah knows I love daily photos of the boys... just look at adorable Marshall~

New obsession at the pool is blowing bubbles~

We had a death in our family and my aunt/uncle came for a visit... see who showed out?~

I needed to drop off something at a lady's home from our church,
and she invited us in for refreshments then a walk down to the lake~

Friday after a few school items, we spent the rest of the day playing, reading~

and working in the backyard~

 We transplanted many plants and put out tomato plants~

 Worked poor Scotty to exhaustion but our yard looks SO much better~

Lots of celebrations for our big girls:
Savannah and Josh celebrated Marshall turning 2 months.
Amelia and Logan celebrated 6 months of marriage.
Rosemary celebrated Hayden's 21st birthday~

We had a terrible thunderstorm one morning and Calla climbed right into Will's arms~

AND Evie decided she was tired of a big wiggly molar so she pulled it right out herself!
That's a week of Life Lately!

What a Weekend~

With the spring comes lots and lots of yard work which we LOVE!
We had moved our big 'Parenthood' table into the grass but mosquitoes and ants were terrible so~

 We decided to make the space better with a brick and river rock~

We had super wonderful helpers~

 Gave the table a little love too~

Spent Sunday enjoying outside with Macy~

Exploring our dried up cove~

Watching these sweet ones play~

and enjoying beautiful sunsets~

Such a wonderful weekend!!!

Rosie is Home~

Rosie is home for the week for Spring Break~

And this crew is pretty HAPPY about it!!!!!

Eye Dr and Library~

SJ&WP had eye appts this morning and they went very well~

 We ran a few errands, ate lunch, and chanced the library.
First time we had gone since Calla has been home~

She did pretty well other than pulling books, dropping them on the floor, and me reshelving them all.
We came out with a walking baby and stroller full of books.
All in all a very good day!!!

Christmas Traditions~

Big families have built in 'elves', and my Christmas cards are in the mail because of them~

 It was the most precious thing to watch Calla do her job.
She picked up one card at a time and placed into the box.
So serious and thoughtful!

Everyone was SO happy to welcome Rosie back home for the holidays from college~

 Especially the baby!

As tradition would have it, we all enjoyed the Christmas parade with our cousins~

Then went home to open our first gift of Christmas (pajamas) and watched Miracle of 34th Street~

Our Christmas holidays are off to a beautiful beginning!!!
