Vermeer Study~

We LOVE our Simply Charlotte Mason Art Study: Vermeer.
This week we learned about The Girl with the Pearl Earrings and watched a video about how pearls are formed~

 They all drew and painted something they chose and we laminated for our art notebooks~

 Pulling out the notebooks had them reliving all their beautiful art memories~

 We also took a day and wrote 6 word descriptions for our painting too~

I even had time to cut out our silhouettes and hang in our living room~

 One of my favorite things to make every single year!!!

For Fun Friday we painted our own rendition of The Girl with the Pearl Earring~

 I think everyone did a brilliant job~

Art study is definitely one of favorites school activities!!!
