Shamian Island~

The paradise island of Guangzhou. Our first trip to Guangzhou in 2006 was spent on this island @ The White Swan which is now being renovated~
 We asked our two FAVORITE shop keepers when it would be done and they both said... WHO knows???~

We were all going to eat @ Lucy's but wouldn't you know they were closed for renovations and would be open tomorrow SO we opted for a snack @ Starbucks which made for the perfect photo op~












Our precious babies... we are still in AWE of God's blessing!!!

On the way home Miko took the dads to a local market to buy each of a wok!!! Can't wait to try it out!!! Scott took the camera and shot a few photos on the way~









 A wonderful day for sure!!!

    Could Payne and Evie Claire be any cuter? Oh my! :) Love their sweet, sweet smiles and love the street pictures of China. Your journey has made Kevin and me want to hop on a plane bound for China right away!

    My fundraising idea for Ivy Joy was to be the spoke person for Doritos to help defray her medical costs. Seriously, though, could you just charge and let those of us in cyberspace kiss and squeeze your little one's adorable cheeks. Oh my goodness I can't get enough. We love to follow along on travel blogs while we are desperately waiting. No kidding that Evie Claire is probably one of the most transformed kiddos I have watched. Safe travels home where the fun will just begin. I am sure you all cannot wait. Blessings

    OMW, their faces have already changed to pure happiness. So, the WS is now totally different on the outside? How cool to actually buy a wok in China! I may have to try and do that next summer when we are there. I'm also wondering if the WS will be open by then? Great pics you posted today.

    LOOK at those SMILE from Evie Claire!! Of course, Payne Curtis always have had that beautiful smile and it's no doubt that GOD ORCHESTRATED this adoption journey to be this way. It's no "trickery" or "hiding the truth".

    This is PURELY a MIRACLE and God's handiwork at it's best. Thank you so VERY MUCH for taking us along and we look forward to you reuniting with your family.

    Congratulations on the BEAUTIFUL new additions to your family!!! I am just catching up on this whole trip. I have been so absent form the adoption blogging community that I must confess...I did not even know it was happening. Evie Claire and Payne Curtis are darling.     Looking at these pictures of Evie, I can't believe that it's just been a week since she had those sad, scared eyes. What a perfect brother-sister duo you've got. Would love to be at the airport when they get to meet the rest of their siblings!     I just found your blog fairly recently and have loved seeing you travel for these two precious children! The change in sweet Evie is remarkable - something only a Heavenly Father and 2 precious earthly parents could orchestrate. Can't wait to see her blossom even more once she's home. You have a beautiful family and I know you are so anxious to be ALL together again! Prayers for safe and uneventful travels.....I know that longing to journey HOME!
