December Schooling~

Cozy schooling was our goal for the month.
Our read aloud was Because of Winn Dixie~ the perfect story for our family with a new puppy~

 We used Banagrams to work on spelling words.

We read lots of Christmas books especially THE Christmas Story~

We baked lots and lots of yummy goodies for poetry teatime~

Our neighbor showered us with lots crafts and puzzles~

Then we turned the crafts into writing activities~

We spent LOTS of time in the sunroom enjoying our new rug, tree, and stockings~

We made salt dough ornaments for our tree~

More baking~

More writing~

And lots of board games~
