Family Memories in October~

October was a wonderful month!

Our sweet neighbor Ms. Judy invited us to help her create the scarecrow for our church~

The three heart loves got excellent reports at their cardiologist~

I was so blessed to go to a retreat for homeschooling moms and brought home lots of new to us books~
It was nestled right by a lake and such a beautiful time away.

We got to spend the day loving on the boys for a day~
We even had eye appointments and BC went with us then we met Nan/Marshall for dinner~

Hayden and Rosie shot amazing photos and video with a drone~
 Super cool!

Will and Pop shared a birthday party with Sissy, Memommy, and cousins~
For dinner we roasted hotdogs and smores~

Still taking the boat out for late afternoon rides, and Macy got to come~

I had a friend give us a house rendition with dormers and paint~
 What do you think???

Will was SO excited with his birthday surprises~

For his real birthday, we headed out for a day trip to the apple orchard~

Which is an annual trip for us~

We had lunch at a wonderful place in Clayton and shopped around the town~

Then we were off for a hike~
We hiked in one mile and back out with everyone on their own feet almost the whole time~
Calla needed a little help going in but walked all the way out herself~
Back home to sing happy birthday with CFA cookies~

Scott's first house in Harli's Way is coming right along~

Our next big trip was to Kentucky, and we loved driving over the gorgeous mountains~

We made it there in 7 hours, and our first stop was the Kentucky Horse Park~

The horses were magnificent~

We had lots of opportunities for photos~

We loved seeing real race horse champions as well as huge work horses~

There were two museums~

And a gift shop which Ella found a Breyer of course. We enjoyed staying in our first Airbnb~

The second day was the whole reason we went to Kentucky...
The Ark Encounter~

It didn't disappoint, and we wandered all three decks~

The Door was amazing~

We were able to visit the zoo and pan for gems~

We went back to the horse park again to visit the second museum and all the horses again~

 It was the BEST trip!!!

Finally Halloween arrived so they could dress up in the costumes Rosie worked so hard on~

The Wizard of OZ~

We enjoyed two trunk-or-treats~

Painting pumpkins in the backyard~

Monster Mash in town~
And trick-or-treating at Memommy's and our neighborhood!
We ended the day and month with another hotdog roast and dinner around our big table!!!
