Waiting Here for You~

Was the theme for the Lifeline Georgia Fundraiser Banquet that we attended last evening.
We pulled out about 1pm and after just one stop to drop off library books, we made it right on time~

We finished getting everyone dressed and hair fixed to walk in and get the 411 for the evening.

It was such a sweet time to meet and greet lots of people we had only known via the computer as well as friends we already loved~

The littles were so happy and well behaved. Just a sweet time to celebrate the wait we had for each of them... totally worth every minute!
Our table was perfect, dinner was delicious, and friendships strengthened!
We can't say enough about Lifeline and their mission for children all over the world... orphans, fostered, adopted, and unadopted... to know Jesus Christ as their Savior~ The Gospel. That spoke straight to our family's heart. There is no greater reason that our children are home forever with us than to come to know Jesus and find His will for their lives.

It was our great privilege to be at the banquet and would say thank you to every Lifeline staff member for helping us bring our two sweet blessings home... Payne Curtis and EvieClaire!

Psalm 38:15
Lord, I wait for you;
you will answer, Lord my God.

James 1:27
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

  1. Wow! What a fun banquet! Cute pictures of the fam!

  3. That is so sweet -- what a wonderful celebration!

  4. What a wonderful gathering!! Your photos are just wonderful. I especially love the one of sweet Evie Claire & her beautiful, sweet smile. Your children are just beautiful, Sharon.

  5. So wonderful you had an opportunity to meet and celebrate just a wonderful cause.

  6. A Beautiful Family! A Beautiful evening...yes, yes, yes, that these little ones come to know Jesus as their Savior and find His will for their lives...AMEN!! Thankful for organizations and agencies like Lifeline!

  7. Hey! Was the banquet at St. Luke? That is such a nice facility, if that is where it was! I hope the next time you come to Columbus I can be standing there waiting for a big hug! Your family is beautiful and your pictures are so lovely!

  8. Love that you are living out the Gospel and being such an AWESOME example. Today we headed to the zoo and I saw the airplanes coming into Houston. I got a little teary thinking that this time last year we were in China getting our sweet girl and wondering if we have another daughter on the other side of the world. :)My boys say Yes. LOL Blessings and hope you are having a great week!!!!!
