Today was a marathon day of traveling for us and Evie is still struggling. I can not put her down at all really so no time to sit and blog. Plus VPN is not working and I am dead tired. Going to bed and hope to blog more tomorrow. Here is our sweet baby for now...

That baby reminds me so much of EK! Take your time, slow things down and get your baby girl feeling safe. Thanks for keeping us up to date even on your hard day. Remember each day you will start to see more and more glimmers of hope from her. God has got this my friend :)
ReplyDeleteUgh this strikes the mama's heart and brings back so many painful memories watching Kate grieve so hard. This is a healthy sign she can form attachments. I had to keep reminding myself of that. It just hurts so much to see your baby hurt. You are so kind, sweet and filled with the Holy Spirit that she will be comfortable in no time. Hang in there!!!!

Oh her sweet, precious face! Breaks my heart to see her somber face but also know God is going to bring such joy to her now that she has a family! So glad she is clinging to her mama.....so good for bonding. It is exhausting though. Wynne would not go to my husband at all when we were in country. Thought my body would collapse at times from her not allowing me to put her down. (thank goodness for the ergo or I really might have fallen over :)) But, we made it through! Praying that each day you see her little self feel more and more safe and secure!
