Half Century Club

Happy Half Century Birthday to my sweet husband...
50 never looked so young~ Halfway to 100~

As I was thinking and praying for him this morning,
I thought of several special things to share about him.

He was born 20, 15, and 10 years after Larry, Jan, and Susan
and became the son and sibling the whole family adored~
First grade

Senior in High School~

He is JUST like his dad.
Lots of people in our church
and town tell him he looks and acts just like him...
which means, he is kind, patient, gentle, loving, hard working, believer, and happy~

He is the BEST dad in the world~

to his girls~

and will completely adore his son Will.

He LOVES being outside~
(random pics I dug out of a box)

He LOVES Fisher~

He loves me unconditionally and completely~

And because his love is SO amazing,
his daughters' all know exactly what they are praying for
in a soul mate and I know exactly who I want Will to be JUST like.
Just read this post written by Savannah!

1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Dear Scotty~

You are the greatest thing that ever happened to a lot of people~
mostly to me and the girls. We couldn't be more blessed to be
loved by you. Thank you for your unselfish love you give us
every day!!! Never ever do you complain about anything
you have to do~ drive over 3 hours a day back and forth to work,
a huge yard to keep up, helping at the barn, teaching and working
at church, helping with things around the house, bathing and reading
to the girls, and anything else I need you to do. We are thankful
to have a 50 birthday to celebrate with you today. God blessed our family BIG when He gave us you. We pray He gives you many
more years to love Him, love us, and love others.
Love you forever, Shay
